EDUCATION AND RESEARCH

Seats of learning have developed a unique and integrated space, where microenvironments intended for different activities have the same respect and the characteristics of habitability and adaptability. At all times, they accommodate people and educational activities and research while offering functionality, safety, comfort and wellbeing. Spaces dedicated to research and education become the result of overlapping various environmental structures: such as information, relationships, spaces and architectural elements and materials, which sometimes interact to bring important results. Over the years, laboratories and spaces dedicated to research have increasingly become the tools required to close the gap between studies and the world of work and production. They are now technologically “complex” places that need an integrated design approach, in which STEAM has long-standing experience.
