ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STUDIES
Sustainable development is a form of economic development of cities and communities, which does not affect the opportunity for future generations to continue preserving the quality and quantity of our heritage and natural resources.
In this context, STEAM is involved in Environmental Impact Assessment, implementing a methodological approach in the design stage to anticipate all the permanent and temporary direct, indirect and induced effects. The study aims to prevent negative effects and encourage positive ones.
The procedure is intended to check compatibility between the project and its surrounding environment.
In this respect, the Environmental Impact Study comprises all the technical documents that analyse any foreseeable effects for each environmental aspect, such as the atmosphere, noise, water supply, ground, buildings, landscape, eco-systems and social environment.
STEAM implements all activities and ensures maximum environmental sustainability for projects with the aim of obtaining approval in terms of environmental compatibility, always bearing in mind the special features and needs of the territory and the client.
