TECHNOLOGICAL SYSTEMS DESIGN AND ENERGY CERTIFICATIONS

STEAM’s main goal in designing Mechanical, Electrical and Special Systems is to create environments that are always comfortable for end users, easy and inexpensive to maintain and run, with safe and reliable operation, which aim to maximise energy savings and lower environmental impact.

The energy/plant engineering strategy adopted is a Mean, Lean and Green approach:

• Reducing energy consumption by adopting passive measures for design in order to lower demand (MEAN)
• Optimizing system efficiency by using systems and devices with high energy efficiency (LEAN)
• Using technologies and renewable energy sources (GREEN).

Technical experts, including those with LEED AP credentials, know and successfully apply all the essential parameters of the latest Environmental and Energy certification systems, for example: LEED, ITACA, or similar.
