NEW RIETI HOSPITAL

The new hospital in Rieti will have a medium-high level of multi-specialist assistance, characterized by a high performance capacity, which combines high technology and environmental compatibility: it will be integrated with the network of local services and interconnected through a system open to the city. The effectiveness of care, the humanization of care, functional aggregation, the creation of dedicated flows, the speed of care pathways, will allow an efficient and appropriate response in the various care settings with a high quality of hospital services provided. The study is aimed at creating a building with high environmental efficiency, with excellent levels of comfort, in harmony and continuous dialogue with the environment. The data: 440 beds, 69 thousand square meters of premises and 200 thousand square meters of underground parking. According to the feasibility study, it will be built next to the existing one (which will then be demolished and will accommodate other areas serving the hospital activity) in a real Citadel of Health a few kilometers from the city. And again: 14,691 meters dedicated to the Emergency Department (only the ER with emergency medicine and the hot room will have an extension of 4,330 square meters), 3,688 Maternal and Child Department, 9,088 Medical Area, 6,097 Surgical Area, 1,098 Psychiatric Area 1,525 Long-term care and physical and rehabilitative medicine, 11,351 Diagnosis and Care, 2,867 commercial and social spaces with hall, restaurant, bar, shops, baby park, nursery, worship room.
