EXPANSION OF THE “PIER SUD” PASSENGER TERMINAL AT THE MARCO POLO AIRPORT IN VENICE

The South Pier project provided for an extension to the south of the current boarding area intended for non-Schengen flights. During the construction phase, particular attention is being paid to all materials and systems proposed by the Contractor, both in the approval and construction phases, in compliance with all the prerequisites and credits chosen in the design phase in order to obtain the LEED SILVER v4 for BUILDING DESIGN and CONSTRUCTION certification for the entire terminal building. The project was carried out in BIM, so the Works Management is also following this methodology using an ACDat sharing platform for the management of information processes. The Works Management provides for the approval and validation of the models delivered in predefined stages, to be identified within the BEP with the aim of approving the work progress status: Construction modeling validation. In conjunction with the SALs, the BIM model is updated with the percentages of progress that will be compared with the preventive planning. Constructed Congruence Approval: Verification of the modeling of the real model detected (as built) and site monitoring; it will be understood as contextual to any formal verification of the progress of the work. The company will have to deliver the as built in progress after the SAL. Approval of information content and AIM: verification of the information parameters entered and compiled in the model and of the arrangements for management and maintenance needs
